A McFarlane employee has called Kyle "Mr 75%" (referring to the fact that he was supposedly doing 75% of the sculpt but somebody else had to finish it to make it look better) on the Spawn Board once, I don't think it was appropriate either.
The Horsemen don't work for NECA.
That being said, I don't think it was a friendly jab. Certainly didn't read that way, and it's not the first time that they've done something immature like this.

curious...I'm not sure how to take it.
It's funny, I realized the other day that I buy way more NECA product than McF at this point because they are making the figures I want to own. That doesn't mean the figures are superior to McF's, though...often they are not even close in quality. But I like the fact that other companies are making characters that we've asked McF to make for years on end to no avail. Sure, NECA is raping all the licenses McF has already used, but I for one am actually happy about that.
So I'd say NECA has plenty of support from fans at this point for what they are doing and how they are doing it, and I'm surprised to see them bashing McF, if that's what they are doing. My point being that McF basically gave them a blueprint of how to run their company, and it seems unecessary to disresepct McF like that.
I think it's funny NECA had to hang out at the McFarlane booth to get pic's taken of someone they have a license for. [headknockers]
some funny digs, but not really professional...
...isn't Neca Randy's gig?
...and wasn't Randy always kind of a prick to those he didn't take a liking to?
Not strictly professional, but not really surprising.
Kinda funny, though...
Maybe NECA'S moto should be "NECA: It'S an attitude...problem."

...but y'know, the more I think about it...I think it was intended to be a wee joke that just doens't translate well to print. I mean, its kinda not terribly pointed, if you don't know the whole damn history you wouldn't get it at all...
